Because my family has included non-Japanese members, I have had many opportunities since a young age to become acquainted with other cultures.
By the time I was a university student, I had developed an interest in international exchange which brought me into contact with people from a variety of countries, representing a diversity of cultures and languages.
In the course of these experiences, my desire to convey more of Japan's good points became stronger and led to the birth of -sachi-.

Every day I warmly welcome customers together with my mother and sister, who are both experienced kimono makers.
As an experienced tourism guide and a licensed Japanese language teacher, I am also available for those who want to learn more about Japan.
